November saw the premiere of my latest album, “Polish Trombone Impressions,” which summarizes over a century of solo trombone music in the work of Polish composers. It features compositions in which neoclassical form and advanced harmonies intertwine with a neo-Romantic style, rich in lyrical motifs, virtuoso displays, and allusions to folklore.
On the album you will find:
- Zygmunt Stojowski – Fantasy for trombone and piano
- Witold Friemann – Concerto No. 2 for trombone and piano
- Feliks Nowowiejski – Improvisation for trombone and piano
- Ewa Fabiańska-Jelińska – Sonata for trombone and piano
- Aleksander Tansman – Miniatures for trumpet, horn, and trombone
- Tadeusz Paciorkiewicz – 6 Miniatures for 4 trombones
I was accompanied on the recording by:
- Tomasz Sośniak – piano
- TrombQuartet – Piotr Banyś, Marek Kaczor, Tomasz Kaczor
- Polish Brass Trio – Damian Kurek, Tomasz Kuboń
This recording was made possible thanks to the enormous commitment of individuals and institutions, to whom I would like to sincerely thank for their support and trust:
